About Bear Foot Yoga

Bear Foot Yoga is an all ages, shapes and sizes studio with an emphasis on lifestyle wellness. Our kula (community) welcomes and nurtures heartfelt connections in support of self-healing. We explore the many benefits of our practice and appreciate that yoga works on all the layers of our being. The only dogma we teach is happiness and acceptance.

BFY offers a variety of weekly drop-in yoga classes, energy healing, private meditation instruction, and individual yoga therapy that are adaptable to your body and goals.

Our studio is a happy yellow 2000 SF ADA accessible house in beautiful historic downtown Burlington; easy drive from Racine, Kenosha and Walworth counties.

All weekly classes are drop in. Please register for Events and Workshops. Equipment (mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets) provided free of charge. Practitioners are encouraged to purchase their own mat for hygienic reasons and for a dedicated practice.

Our special events explore holistic modalities including Ayurveda, the chakras, sound healing and chanting, meditation, pranayama, yoga for anxiety and depression, back care yoga, etc. We also offer the opportunity for full immersion and transformation on a variety of retreats.

Bear Foot Yoga, LLC was established in 2009.  After two years of searching for the right location and an extensive remodel, Bear Foot Yoga Studio opened in February 2013.  We are blessed to be the first facility in western Racine county fully dedicated to yoga and lifestyle wellness.

Megan, owner of Bear Foot Yoga, LLC since 2009, is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapy (C-IAYT), RYT 500, a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner (HTCP) and a Certified Ayurvedic Marma Therapist through the CA College of Ayurveda. She provides private yoga therapy, energy healing and Ayurvedic Marma Therapy by appointment. She also teaches meditation and accessible weekly yoga classes with an emphasis on the subtle body. Megan’s specialty is what she lovingly refers to as "Body Prayer" - a somatic style of yoga that decreases pain, improves mobility and enhances energy flow within the body.
